Air Cooled Water Chillers A subsidiary of  
     
GUIDE SPECIFICATION:

UNIT:
The unit shall be a Air-cooled reciprocating water chiller, for application with R-22 refrigerant, and shall be factory completed with compressor(s), Air cooled condenser(s), a cooler (direct expansion *type), star-delta starter, protective and safety devices, thermal expansion valve(s), compressor suction valve(s) and standard accessories, and the unit shall be factory assembled, piped, internally wired and charged with R-22 refrigerant. Optional accessories shall also be provided upon customer request.
POWER SUPPLY:
 The unit shall operate on 380V, 50 Hz, 3phase, and shall be capable of operating within maximum 425V and minimum 380V.

  


COMPRESSOR:
 The unit shall contain hermetic or semi-hermetic compressor(s) from the best manufacturer. The semi- hermetic compressor shall be the serviceable type, and shall have an oil sight glass. The compressor protection system shall include over- current relay(s), dual pressure switch (s), timer relay(s), oil pressure switch(s) and internal thermostat(s) embedded in the motor winding.

CONDENSER:
 The Air-cooled condenser shall be offin tube type construction. Imported seamless copper tubes with high heat transferfins, shall be expanded to tube.
The refrigerant circuits of the condenser shall be cleaned and tested for leakage at the maximum permissible working pressure.

COOLER:
The cooler shall be the dry expansion type horizontal shell and tube type within welded steel construction shell. Tubes shall be seamless type with aluminum star innerfins.
Tubes shall be expanded to tube plates and shall be replaceable in the field. The refrigerant side of the cooler shall be cleaned, dehydrated and tested for leakage at the maximum permissible working pressure of 13kg/cm'2G. The waterside of the cooler shall be tested for water leakage at the maximum permissible working pressure.

A complete Protection Mechanism
As Cool point Water Chiller is equipped with the following protection units, you can be assured of its safe use.
  
       
   
High/Low Pressure switch:
 When the discharging pressure of the compressor rises abnormally or its suction pressure falls abnormally, this switch will be enabled to protect the chiller.
  
   
 
   
Crank Care Heater / Oil Heater:
This heater will heat the oil in the compressor, while protecting the compressor by preventing a possible degeneration of lubrication due to an oil foaming.
  
       
   
Anti Freezing Thermostat:
When the temperature of cool water falls down abnormally, this thermostat will be enabled to prevent the evaporator from being frozen.
  
       
   
Fusible Plug:
This plug will be melted down when the ambient temperature rises abnormally due to a fire or other accidents. Thus, the cooler will be protected and not be subjected to a higher pressure.
  
       
    Compressor Over Load Protection:
It protects the all motors from presser against any over current! over loading during operation.
