QUALITY GUARANTEED
Universal fan-coil units are guaranteed against any mechanical failure resulted from defective materials, parts or faulty workman ship for a period of 12 months from the date of shipment from Factory. The Universal fan-coil units are designed for a minimum 10-year lifetime under normal running condition. However, many actual installations show that all the well maintained or serviced units have been in trouble-free operation beyond this designed life.

QUIET METAL/PLASTIC FANS (BLOWER)
Each unit incorporates metal/plastic fan(s) designed by guarantees a quieter-than-quiet run and requires less fan power. This fan, made of metal/plastic blades provides excellent corrosion-resistance and
durability in continuous operation.

SAFE, ENERGY-SAVING, LONG-LIFE MOTOR
Selected low-noise, energy-saving, permanent split-capacitor type motor is mounted on each unit.
The motor and bearings selected are designed for a 10 year life expectancy. However, many well-maintained units have been satisfactorily operating for more than 10 years.
In order to clear increasingly tough electrical safety requirements, the permanent split capacitor is totally canceled by metal cover and fitted on to motor enclosure. The motor lead out wires are sheathed into and protected by flexible metal/plastic conduit against possible damage during field installation work.

Construction:
The FCU unit is fabricated by rigid galvanized steel casing complete with well-balanced metal constructed DIDW fan(s) driven by PSC motor(s) and protected by flexible conduit, 3-row standard coil (optional 2/4 row cooling/1-row heating split circuit of Model FCUDC), and 5 mm standard. For servicing purpose, the fan motor deck can be removed from the coil section by externally unscrewing the fixtures accessible from the rear bottom of the unit. Standard plenum can befitted to the unit where so required atthe time of ordering.
